PDI Truck Show & Dyno Event 11/1-2, 2013 - Saint George, UT

Performance Diesel Inc. (PDI) of St. George, Utah, will be hosting their fourth annual Customer Appreciation Dyno Event and Truck Beauty Contest. The event will take place Friday, November 1 through Saturday, November 2, 2013, at their headquarter facilities located at 687 North Industrial Road, Saint George, UT 84770.

Held each year, customers and truckers from across the country combine to make a great family event that all can enjoy. Spectators can watch the most powerful trucks in North America run on the dyno to see how much horsepower each engine makes. This year Overdrive is hosting the Truck Beauty Competition in their National Championship Series. Cash and trophies are awarded to winning trucks in a variety of classes. The competitions are open to anyone with a full or part-time working truck.

Don't forget to come out and watch the truck light show at dusk on Friday night. Trucks will be lining the street on Industrial Road. This is an amazing site, not to be missed! All spectators are invited to both days of events free of charge. Bring the whole family and come enjoy the fun!

The annual event, sponsored by PDI, gives back to those who support the company. “We host the event each year to show our customers, the trucking industry, and the local community our appreciation for their support,” said Jerad Wittwer, founder and owner of PDI.

The Annual Customer Appreciation Truck Show & Dyno Event is unlike any other trucking event in the U.S. “This is an attraction for truckers,” said Shaun Barney, PDI sales manager. “Every trucker who enters the competition wants their truck to run on the Taylor Dynamometer so they can showcase their engine horsepower and torque.”

PDI works hard to make sure everyone has a good time at the event. “The 2012 show was my first time attending, and it was the best show I’ve ever been to!” said Paul Marcotte of Marcotte Farms Inc., located in Momence, Ill. “I’ve never been shown so much genuine care and hospitality. I’ll definitely be back next year.”

Spectators also enjoy the event because they can see the trucks polished for show, watch the most powerful trucks in North America run on the dyno, and enjoy a free lunch. “Thanks PDI! Very cool to be there today,” said Sara Lee Calderon of Riverside, Calif. “Man, the hamburgers were the best! Great looking 18 wheelers, hope to attend next year! Thanks again for the fun event!”.
